    It is quite common now to observe that more and more people are encountering stress through challenging times at work and home. While some stress may be inspiring and motivating for some towards striving to improve and achieve their dreams, but excessive stress when unmanaged will not only be damaging to our mental and physical health, it will also affect staff morale leading to lower productivity, poor performance and even conflicts at work

    This workshop seeks to help the participants better understand stress and the connection between our body and mind. This gives them a better understanding about the internal and external sources and triggers of stress and emotional reactions and how it affects us, our life and work. Together with techniques covered in the workshop, the participants will be able to develop a certain level of self-awareness and personal resiliency.
    Objective
    At the end of this workshop, the participants will walk away with:
    1. Understand our emotions and stress level
    2. Know what are the causes and sources of stress
    3. Know the effect when placed under tremendous physical or psychological stress
    4. Understand the basic principles of stress management
    5. Appreciate what it means to resilience building
    6. Develop a long-term action plan to minimize and better handle our stress through our emotional management and resiliency

    3. The impacts of stress
    4. Strategies in managing our physical stress
    5. Building mental resiliency and how to leverage this technique to manage stress
    6. Understand the linkage between emotions and conflicts that result in stress
    7. Appreciate the time pressure on our stress levels
    8. Application of techniques and strategies to manage our emotions, conflicts and time

    Robin Liu's Profile
    Robin is passionate in assisting his coachees to gain clarity and self-awareness, setting up goals, drawing up action plans, setting accountability for them to take action on the plans, and creating routines and new habits that will sustain the momentum and motivation in taking responsibility for their own life.

    With over 20 years of corporate experience, he has accumulated valuable insights and know-hows into the different workings, systems and culture of public, private and non-profit organizations. Robin has held different roles in operations, strategic planning, marketing, people and project management, change and crisis management, coaching and training, mainly in industries of healthcare, cultural and arts as well as voluntary welfare organizations.

    He is trained and certified in Business Continuity Management and has expertise in operations, strategic planning, marketing, people and project management, change and crisis management, coaching, and training. Robin is skilled in drawing out and leveraging on the strengths of his team and clients to increase their effectiveness and performance.

    Robin holds a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Human Resources Management from the City University of New York, Baruch College in United States. He also has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Hull, Business School, United Kingdom. He holds an Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). Robin is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
