In our day to day life, are we mindful or our mind is full? For most of us, our mind is full; full of worries, the long list of to-do list, finding solutions to deal with work and life challenges etc. We find ourselves doing more but achieving less and feeling overwhelmed and burnt out.
Based on a recent research by Willis Towers Watson, 60% of Singapore staff experience above average or high level of stress. High level of stress often leads to difficulty concentrating, absenteeism and poor work quality. In addition to a decrease in productivity, chronic stress had been linked with an increased risk of health problems, especially dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The good news is though we cannot totally avoid stress in our life, we can learn to improve our wellness and reduce stress through mindfulness stress reduction techniques.
Practising Mindfulness at work will increase our attention, focus and productivity. Research has also shown that mindfulness practice will result in a stronger immune system, better relationships with others and more joy and happiness.
This 1-day hands on fun workshop incorporating different mindfulness and stress reduction techniques will allow participants to learn how to be more mindful at work and manage stress more effectively.
