Methodology
This Project Management workshop adopts an interactive and practical approach. Participants will have the opportunities to brainstorm solutions for their project problems during the group discussions; and consult the trainer on any project management issues during the Q&A sessions. The trainer will share with the participants his 40 years of Project Management experience through Ppt presentations, video viewings, group discussions, and case studies.

Project Management Consultant & Trainer
Tan Joo Chuah (JC Tan) is a veteran Project Management Consultant with 40 years of real estate development experiences in Singapore and China. He started his career with the Housing & Development (HDB) and was Senior Principal Project Manager when he left the organization. He was also Assistant Director in the Housing Division of the Ministry of National Development.
JC was the General Manager (Projects) for Keppel Land China. During the 4 years while he was with the company, he was stationed in Shanghai managing the company’s development projects in 10 cities in China. He was also the first Managing Director for SIPM Consultants (a wholly owned subsidiary of Surbana-Jurong), and Director (Projects) for Raffles Medical Group.
JC was the 2nd Vice-President for the Society of Project Managers, Singapore. He is also a Fellow member of the Society. He has delivered keynote addresses at the China International Construction Project Management Summit meetings.
JC holds a Master of Science (With Distinction) in Construction Engineering from University of Leeds in UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from University of Singapore. He is also
a Professional Engineer (Civil), Singapore.
JC conducts Project Management training regularly for IES (The Institution of Engineers, Singapore) Academy and Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore (REDAS). He is also a certified ACTA Trainer (by Institute for Adult Learning, SUSS), and can conduct training either in English or Chinese.
