Communicate Effectively Using MBTI For Personal Discovery - Knowing Self and Knowing Your Team
Difference in communication styles is one of the key causes of conflict. These styles can often be attributed to personality and natural preferences. While there are strengths and weaknesses to each approach, having the right communication strategy and skills will enhance workplace and social interactions. “Knowing Me, Knowing You” is a full day training workshop where participants will discover their communication styles, rectify old habits and learn new skills by discovering their MBTI personality type. Through engaging in discussions and exploration, you will be able to change your communication mindset and style for better results and greater productivity.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) tool is useful to teams because it is based on the idea that we all have unique views and gifts to offer. In teams we work together, attempting to maximise each other’s special talents, thereby minimising gaps and skills. Applying the knowledge of personality typing will allow individuals to discover different communication patterns as well as that of the team, thus promoting efficiency and harmony for higher quality of work. It is a framework to help members understand communication motivation driven by different worldviews, lenses and strengths.
The workshop fee will cover the administration of the online MBTI Profiling Instrument, which is valued at S$70.00, to enhance efficacy during the workshop.
