Profile of Evania Tan
Evania has over 14 years of consulting experience in both the public and private sector, with a client portfolio that consists of Top Government Agencies, Multinational Companies from Fortune 500, and Local Organisations. Prior to being an independent Consultant, she was at SHL Talent Measurement and EY Advisory. Other professional appointments include her being an Adjunct Lecturer at the Singapore Institute Management University, and a Faculty Speaker at the Human Capital Leadership Institute for the Global-Asia Leadership Accelerator Programme.
Her area of work includes projects ranging from role profiling, executive assessments, assessment center and development center design, high potential identification, leadership development and talent audit, and business outcomes validation studies. In addition to her expertise across the Talent Management Cycle, she has also worked on projects in HR Transformation, Communications, Change Management, Organizational Restructuring, Merger Integration, and Business Process Reengineering.
Evania began her career as a Research Psychologist at DSO National Laboratories, where she worked on a range of Performance Enhancement projects at the Military Physiology Laboratory and the Human Cognition Laboratory.
Evania graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) majoring in Psychology, and obtained her Masters of Social Sciences (M.Soc.Sci.) by research in Organisational Psychology from the National University of Singapore. In addition, she was trained in the Psychology of Influence at Harvard University, and Political Psychology at Stanford University. Evania is a Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society, and was duly elected Associate of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is also certified by the British Psychological Society as a Level 1 and Level 2 Occupational Test User.
