    The lack of work life balance, the increasing pace of life and demands in workplace all add to the stress that accumulates in all of us. Trying to balance responsibilities at work and at home may cause many to suffer from stress which results in high blood pressure, insomnia, headaches, obesity and picking up habits such as smoking and excessive drinking.

    The effects of short term stress if not treated will lead to chronic illnesses and may affect our quality of life. Whether we are managers or executives, housewives or students, we will all experience stress in some degree in our lives.

    We need to take action and recognise symptoms, seek solutions and assistance if necessary to manage the stress and achieve we4llness. We can learn to manage stress so that it works for us and not against us.

    • Sleep and rest - how to overcome insomnia and promote restful sleep
    • Positive thinking, visualisation and self motivation techniques
    • Stress relief techniques including aroma therapy, music therapy, pet therapy
    • Moving from stress to wellness the mind, body and soul approach
    Who should attend
    Anyone who is facing stress at work or in the family, with friends and even within themselves. Those who are not facing stress at the moment but would like to learn techniques to deal with stress and to maintain balance in the work and family life. Those who are seeking a balance between their mind body and soul so as to achieve wellness
    Methodology
    Participants will undergo an experiential learning environment where they will be required to fill in questionnaire for self evaluation, monitor their breathing and current life style including diet, exercise and sleep habits. Hands on opportunities to learn relaxation techniques including aromatherapy, music therapy, massage, laughter therapy, deep breathing exercises and view videos illustrating stress relief techniques

    James is a multi-talented trainer and best-selling author. He has over 20 years of training experience. The co-creator of Singapore's comic icon 'Mr. Kiasu', James has written comic books and recently wrote and published a best-selling illustrated book on Singapore which has won two awards.
