    Resilience Management Skills
In the workplace, have you ever encountered dealing with ongoing challenges, problems, coping with setbacks, threat of job loss, handling the pressure of deadlines, change of job scope, upskilling, reskilling, adapting to organizational change, and coping with ongoing stress at work?

All these situations will be an ongoing fact throughout an individual’s working life. Having to cope with any of these feelings does affect an individual’s overall health and well-being.

However, if an individual acquires the knowledge and skills of ‘Resilience’ management, the attitude towards encountering such issues would be viewed differently. The individual would be able to use rational thinking skills, to improve physical and emotional health, and build better relationships with those around them.

"Resilience isn't a single skill. It's a variety of skills and coping mechanisms. To bounce back from bumps in the road as well as failures, you should focus on emphasizing the positive."
    ― Jean Chatzky

Research has shown that resilience can be recognized as a very important skill to be demonstrated in the workplace. In today’s working environment, the resilience of an individual and the organization has become a critical factor for business success too.

"Resilience is knowing that you are the only one that has the power and the responsibility to pick yourself up."
    ― Mary Holloway

“Resilience is accepting your new reality, even if it’s less good than the one you had before. You can fight it, you can do nothing but scream about what you’ve lost, or you can accept that and try to put together something that’s good.”
