Since the Personal Data Protection Act became law in 2014, the Personal Data Protection Commission has enforced hundreds of cases of PDPA breaches by companies across various industries, and even by universities and schools.

While technology enhances work productivity, it has often caused PDPA breaches, such as auto-complete functions, not using email BCC field, Google shared forms/folders, Internet bots, and more.

This course introduces the must-know about PDPA and highlights common social media, events management and work practices that easily fall foul of the Personal Data Protection Act.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
    1. Identify personal data
    2. Identify whether your work impacts PDPA compliance
