    To excel in a knowledge based economy and increasingly competitive environment, we need to apply innovation and creative problem solving in the workplace. The traditional approach of relying on logical and liner thinking to solve problems and challenges may not work today. Managers and executives at all levels today need to harness their individual and group creativity and adopt innovative techniques to beat the competition and develop solutions for future challenges. Organisations need to tap the creative potential of every member at every level in order to achieve excellence.     • Understand Left brain, right brain and total thinking and how to harness it
    • Learn the Four step creative problem solving approach
    • How to evaluate problems using creative approaches such as the "why"
    • Learn to generate ideas using creative approaches such as SCAMPER.
    • Learn to apply innovation at work, home and in personal challenges
    • How to encourage innovation in the organisation and promote creativity
    • Identify obstacles to creativity in organisations and individuals
    • Facilitating open communication to generate innovation at every level
    • Develop strategies and techniques to enhance group and personal creativity
    Who should attend
    Managers, professionals, staff at all levels who are looking for new ways to deal with challenges in the workplace. Anyone who needs to think of innovative solutions to current and anticipated problems. Those facing challenges whether in the form of product development, service enhancement, improving the social, technological, cultural, educational and other aspects of our environment
    Methodology
    Participants will undergo an experiential learning environment where they will be challenged to solve problems as individuals and groups, apply creative problem solving tools, watch inspirational videos on current innovation initiatives. Participate in self evaluation questionnaires and set goals and targets for personal and organisational creativity and innovation.

    James Suresh's Profile
    James is a multi-talented trainer and best-selling author. He has over 20 years of training experience. The co-creator of Singapore's comic icon 'Mr. Kiasu', James has written comic books and recently wrote and published a best-selling illustrated book on Singapore which has won two awards.

    He is an accredited PR practitioner, a certified FISH trainer as well as an EQ Trainer with Six Seconds Inc (USA) an NLP practitioner, a certified teacher with NIE and MOE registered instructor and certified teacher with a certificate in education. James holds a Masters in Communication Management and a Bachelors in Business Administration.

    James has been featured on news radio in the 'Positive Business Minutes' series and on Channel News Asia for his role in promoting community cohesion and interaction. He has also been featured in press advertisements promoting the Singapore Kindness movement.
