Fery's Profile
Fery has more than 11 years of experience in driving Lean initiatives. He has driven and deployed CI program in various Industries such as Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Agriculture and Banking across Asia-Pacific and Middle-East. He has served in various high profile positions such as AVP for Group Quality & Service Excellence, Regional Lean Deployment Champion, Master Trainer and facilitator and Lean Management Master / Coach. He has more than 8 years of facilitating and training experience to various levels of the organization from Senior VP for HR to Operation team lead. The workshops he conducted has been very well received as he firmly believes that learning should fun and engaging. Similarly, he has also coached and mentored various levels of the organization in Lean Leadership.
Fery graduated from the National University of Singapore with a First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Economics. After graduation, he joined a Leading Oil and Gas company, Schlumberger. He was trained in Lean Six Sigma and led a series of projects that won the second and third Lean Six Sigma awards in Singapore. Subsequently, he led a site lean transformation project which won the prestigious Schlumberger Chairman’s Bronze Award for Excellence. This project also led him to be certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt by Motorola University. Subsequently, he moved on to lead the Asia Pacific Lean deployment of a major chemicals company, DuPont. His engaging and fun approach in conducting Lean workshops led to wide adoption of Lean within the company. Thereafter, he progressed to a regional bank, OCBC where he was the Assistant Vice President for Quality and Service Excellence, focusing on Indonesia and HR Lean transformation projects. He is currently consulting for a Leading Oil & Gas joint venture company in Middle East as their Lean Management Coach / Master to develop and deploy Lean Management.
