    The perplexity of the generation gap is felt by all generations at some point in their life. It seems every generation has an opinion about how other generations operate, from the music choices to how staff meetings should be run. Even though the difference in opinions are unlikely to be resolved anytime soon, is it possible for all to find a common ground & starting point to gain an understanding of generational dynamics in the workplace and home? Once an understanding is established then we can address how to communicate to them.

    This is the 1st time we’ve all four generations actively working together at the same time in the workplace and living together in society. This 1 day workshop aims to give insight on how to communicate to multi-generations can work effectively together. While employees from different generations have a different way of working, the end goal is usually the same. So learn to understand, handle a younger or older counterpart, how to get your end results.

    About the Course

    Communicating to Multi -Generations T,B, X,Y & Z:
    • Understanding of the specific differences between the four generations in today’s workforce and society.
    • Learn why the standard approaches no longer work with all four generations in the workplace and what does.
    • Discover how stereotyping and assumptions hinders communication and engagement.
    • Understand and Resolve the "points of friction" where one generation’s style or perspective is likely to conflict with those of another generation.
    • Understand the most common generational "points of friction" scenarios and their solutions.
    • Learn how to engage, speak the love language required, to maximize their unique experience, exposure, talents, natural abilities and therefore contribution.
    • Know how to conduct a "Whole-Person Engagement Communication".
     
    By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
    • Understand broadly the four generations and their characteristics
    • Identify the drivers and value systems of each generation and how those drivers affect motivation and behavior
    • Describe how each generation defines success and understand how the differences affect communication and relationships
    • Determine your employees generational bias and assumptions
    • Changes required when coaching, managing and retaining employees of different generations
    • What communication to use for to each generation

    Methodology
    This highly interactive, informative and practical role-play sessions will provide participants with a deeper understanding of what the differences are, how those differences impact their own perception and management / leadership style, how they manifest themselves in the participants’ own organization and effective ways to manage / lead the people in their organization to become more harmonious, productive and mutually respectful.
