The Wedding and Events Academy offers training to both existing and aspiring wedding and event planners.Our courses are specialized training delivered by industry experts who have hands on experience of what is required to be successful within this industry.
This Course thoroughly addresses everything you need to know about the art and business of wedding and event planning. From creating a guest list, to hiring vendors, to concepts and design, the course covers everything you need to orchestrate a memorable event.

Objective
Upon completion of the course. Students will be embarking a career as a wedding planner. You can either decide to be a freelance planner or a full time planners with DoWed. Clients and Leads will be provided.

Methodology
Besides, theoretical classes and practical workshops, the course is specially designed to include an apprenticeship programme. In this program, you will attend experiential field trips and assist in an actual wedding or event project for a true hands-on learning experience.

Sherwin Lee has been planning weddings for the past Six years . His recent work includes a wedding held in the UK's Ritz Hotel in London, one of the most prestigious hotels in the world. His portfolio includes wedding that he planned all over the world.
In USA, Hong Kong, Taipei, Australia, Bali, Phuket etc. In that time he has planned and become involved in over 200 weddings and receptions, using his knowledge, experience and contacts to help plan, decorate and budget for the big day. He is also a speaker and trainer in wedding planning. Sherwin has a background in event management, having worked with established event company Museinc, and he is a public speaker who has briefed the likes of the National Parks Board,Wedding and Travels,
Orange Clove, Stamford Catering, Chijmes etc on forthcoming weddings. He was featured in The Straits Time, Life Section on the 24th of May 2010 and Also in Lianhe Zaobao. He was also a guest on FM93.8 Live early this year as he speak on topic regarding wedding planning.
